「預苦期」共有六個主日，是記念和慶祝主的救贖和復活的日子，所以是歡筵的日子、不是守齋禁食日。《靈動每天》願以一篇經文來讓大家預備心靈，進而在主日崇拜中得著更豐富的領受。

4 「以色列啊，你要聽！耶和華我們神是獨一的主。 5 你要盡心、盡性、盡力愛耶和華你的神。 6 我今日所吩咐你的話都要記在心上， 7 也要殷勤教訓你的兒女，無論你坐在家裏，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論； 8 也要繫在手上為記號，戴在額上為經文； 9 又要寫在你房屋的門框上，並你的城門上。」
4 Attention, Israel!
God, our God! God the one and only!
5 Love God, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that’s in you, love him with all you’ve got!
6-9 Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates. (MSG)
